Moonset

It is not everyday this view from our patio occurs. In fact, I have never seen it before and wouldn't have seen it today except my wife pointed it out as we sat drinking our coffee this morning. Even then I resisted breaking out my camera until that little sliver of light struck the roof and illuminated the window. Of course, by the time I was in position to take the photo the light had shifted, but I shot the scene anyway. I think if I have this opportunity again in the future, I need a bit more coffee prior to taking the photo so I can select a more appropriate aperture - one that has both the roof and moon in focus.
