Poppies for Pa

This is my fourth Father's Day without him and it really doesn't seem to get any easier.

He loved yellow and orange Californian poppies but I didn't see any of those today so these red ones will have to do.

A nice walk along the canal at Coombe Hill this morning where I managed to get some reasonable insect photos for a change. The results are on Flickr.
