it was once the done thing to recycle oil and cheese cans and reuse them for potting plants

those oil cans are now getting very rusty and i notice people are replacing them

other popular cans for potting plants are those recycled from building sites, containing building materials

my uncles dont grow geraniums in oil cans, a classic greek image - they grow strawberries instead
