On The Thames

At Christmas we were given a voucher from N's sister for Afternoon Tea for two on the Thames. Today we used it and it was lovely.

Whenever we go on the river we see all the houses and apartments which have sprung up along the banks... some new, many converted wharfs and docks. We often have a little imagine and a daydream of what it must be like to live along the Thames, being able to fling your windows open to the sights and sounds of the glorious life on the river, especially on a sunny day.
