From the Braids, a view across the Hermitage to the City Observatory and on to the Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat. In the distance, the Firth of a Forth with the island of Inchkeith just visible.

One if the best views of the city, seen twice today on my complicated day of driving between north, west and south Edinburgh.
