Uncertain

This little robin seems a little uncertain what to do with himself. He kept looking for mum and dad to give him a hand, but they just left him to fend for himself (which he eventually did).

The other fledgling we saw today was a little owl. He was trying to climb an enormous oak tree by using his wings to hug onto the trunk and then try to scramble his way up. It wasn't going well and we were clearly a distraction he didn't need.
