Porty People and Places

Two landlocked sailing boats in our study window. The one on the right was a gift from my grandfather and he and I used to sail it in the boating pond at Duthie Park Aberdeen some 55 years ago! I remember Mothers' Day from those days but I am pretty sure Fathers' Day is a more recent commercial concoction ! Maybe I will restore the boat soon to sail it with my Grandson on Porty Beach!
