In Bed - With Michael Palin

I'm ill

Possibly manflu but this is quite dibilitating.

So I'm in bed and ploughing through Michael Palin's diaries (1980 - 1988.)

This was a Christmas present and is doing a good job at cheering me up.

If you only see Palin on the telly you'd imagine he was a very innocent, easy going guy - however, the diaries reveal an incredibly driven character.

I'm at the bit where he's making the film "The Missionary" and Britain has invaded the Falkland Islands...
