My lovely lovely dad who was in great spirit and looking fab!

My lovely lovely husband who has worked like a Trojan and sorted the bedrooms out. He then cooked dinner.

My lovely father in law who feels old and poorly and overshares his bowel habits but has a fab charm and is very kind.

For the first time in nearly three years all of our children will be sleeping in their own room. Ds1 is so excited the walls are still pink and the curtains a gorgeous gingham but he has a buzz lightyear duvet set and is happy. It will be painted this week.

I have also worked hard, moving, sorting, washing, cleaning. I have also been for a run!

It's been a good day.

I have to say Facebook has been a bit awash with so much grizzly sentiment and all I can feel is sorry for people like my friend who lost her dad far too early. It must be difficult and thoughts are with those who don't have their dads close x
