For Dad

The rose we planted for Dad has come out in beautiful bloom for Father's Day. 8 months after we lost Dad today was the service of memorial at St Marys, the service was dedicated to 11 parishioners and all families lit a candle and received the named wooden cross that had been in the church.

I didn't hold it together at all and I have been exhausted the rest of the day. My friend Emily surprised me by coming along which meant so much. I have had an amazing network of support from friends over the past few years.
