100 Happy Days: #77

I'm shattered.

54 miles, and 9 hours in the saddle - today I cycled from London to Brighton!

I was aiming for a time of about 4 hours. and near enough 9 hours after we left Clapham Common, we arrived at Brighton seafront!

The trouble wasn't so much the cycling - it was the inner city traffic of the two cities bus dodging and traffic light obeying, plus the fact that there was so many cyclists on the road, every hill meant the ride came to a standstill and we had to walk up the first two major climbs with everyone else.

45 miles later, I'd arrived at the Ditchling Beacon - which I made it up without stopping!
