A homework task for Ferguson was to make his own Mini Beast.

A Beetle?
A Spider?
No... A Butterfly...

We took a trip to the little craft shop in Greenfield & purchased supplies. Ferguson lead to trip selecting jewels, gems & flowers for decoration, in addition to pink card.
When "we" had almost finished it, using an old sock for its body & going to town on the bling- the was a look of uncertainty & a quivery lip.
"I don't want to make a butterfly anymore, what if the other boys laugh at me? Pink butterflies are for girls..."
Much upset & tears followed...
Therefore tonight, the butterfly got a pre-cocoon companion in the guise of another old sock & some green paint.
..A Very Hungry Caterpillar...
- a good recovery even if I do say do myself!

Ferguson is much more at ease with his forthcoming Mini Beast homework presentation.
