Jerusalem artichokes

A very quick blip today. I went up to the allotment to dump off the compost material and fill the bird-feeders. There are still crops to be had in the depth of winter (at least, now the ground is no longer frozen)
So, here's the fartichokes (the effect they have on both M and me gives them their name ;) and a couple of leeks.
