Picnic by the Sea

Having settled Bertie this morning we popped down the coast and took some crusty bread and cheese to enjoy there. It was so relaxing with the sound of the waves and a fresh breeze blowing especially after the heat of yesterday. Lots of people were swimming in wet suits off the rocky platforms or having a go at coasteering.
Bertie made a dash upstairs when we accidentally left the hall door open - he moves in such a 'ninja' way compared to Jekyll that we hadn't noticed plus his dark colouring was tricky to spot upstairs! We lured him back down eventually. He reached for a toy on a stick but only seems to use his left paw. When Jekyll used to jump off the bed you would hear a thump - we always knew his whereabouts but Bertie is much more delicate!
