Queens Baton Relay

Today I was woken up by L giving me a fantastic Father's Day card.

After breakfast we all headed to my dads to give him his present before heading through to Bathgate for the Queens Baton Relay activities.

There was a mini commonwealth games for the kids and L took part in a running race and a mummy and daughter piggy back race for which they finished 3rd and got a medal and £1. There was also a daddy and daughter piggy back race in which we came joint first. They couldn't separate us lol. We won a medal and £3.

We also bumped into Lallybroch and her family which was nice.

After the baton runners came through we hotfooted it through to Livingston for dinner at Nandos before taking up our position to see the baton convoy pass along the boulevard.

From here we went to the big finale at Howden Park. It was such a great turnout and they had so many things to do. L and I helped a team win a tug of war competition. We're on a winning streak!

After this I dropped MrsT and L off at the house before picking up my dad and MrsT's dad and going through to Murrayfield for some ten pin bowling.

Another busy day rounded off by some late night World Cup football on the TV.
