Wren

This wee wren and his other half have taken their residence next to our Fara cottage - I spent a while watching them chirp, flutter about and twitch their tails, very cute.

I've had a fantabulous day. Sonja & I went to Hoy for the day to watch the Half Marathon and meet friends and family, and joined the boys on Fara for the evening. Did a long walk and sneaked up to see about 80 seals up close (Sonja counted them), of all colours, my heart was beating out of my chest. It was a wonderful experience for us wildlife lovers. Home on the RIB on a calm night, preparing for Liam's 15th birthday tomorrow now - it's been a long weekend and it's going to be a long week...
