The Monuments

It is so hard to pick just one photo from a day like today. We started at the National Archives, stopped by the Spy Museum; Washington, Jefferson, FDR, Lincoln Monuments, and ended at the Vietnam Memorial for Joel to pay his respects to his brothers in arms. There were hundreds of roses placed all around the monument to celebrate the fathers among those represented. We left a small token and then walked to Arlington Cemetery. We will go back to Arlington tomorrow to witness the wreath laying in honor of its 150th birthday.
