faerie door

As Steven was still struggling to walk far with his sunburnt feet. We spent a cultural day at the Westray Heritage Centre (excellent) and the Faerie Museum. Which the kids loved. Thankfully it was the faeries of folklore rather than the pink and frilly disney versions. By that I mean slightly scary... in some cases VERY scary tales and otherworldly wierdness.

Had to buy this little door to let the peedie folk in and out of our house. Wouldn't want to upset them.

Apologies for the out of focus shot. Took it late evening, without my contact lenses, after a couple of beers and of course I had to keep checking that I wasn't being watched by little folk with mischief in mind.
