Analog or Digital?
Went to our local church this morning for a meeting - with camera in tow. Since I started blipping (2 Jan. 10), I'm taking it almost everywhere! This is an organ keyboard shot. Traditional church organs are what I would call analog - air is passed by motorized bellows through pipes (from tiny to large) selected via the keyboard by the organist to make music. Newer, generally less costly, less space consuming organs, are digital - their sounds (still keyboard controlled) are computer/software generated. Like a lot of things today, basically the same end product (sound) can be made with much smaller equipment.
