Stramash

The third Whisky Stramash was held last month, and more than 200 different whiskies were available for tasting (and, no - I didn't try them all!).

There are a number of mini-events on during the weekend, and at this one we were given the opportunity to smell peated barley (lovely!) and woods from different types of whisky casks, and to sample the Black Grouse blend, accompanied by dark chocolate. It didn't sound to me like that combination would work, but it definitely did.
