The Blob

Well, actually (despite looking like something that engulfs people in a 50s horror movie), this is my kimchi paste, before the salted cabbage gets thrown into it and coated liberally, prior to fermentation.

It's a mixture of rice flour porridge, hot pepper flakes, fish sauce, garlic, spring onions, julienned carrot, sugar and ginger.
