HOW NOW, BROWN COWS?

I thought when I uploaded this from the camera that it looks like a photomontage, but apart from lightening the shadows slightly and cropping it, it's straight out of camera. And anyway I'm far too inept to create it deliberately. That reddy-brown cow really is that vivid (apparently my mother's mother had hair that colour, and I always wished I did too), and there was a calf lying down behind the dark one, but I couldn't get him into any photos.
