Fulmar

Not a gull. Fulmars must get fed up about nearly everyone thinking they are gulls.

I got the wee bus up to the Loch of Skaill and walked along to Skara Brae, then up onto the cliffs by the Hole o' Row. Unfortunately, fog rolled in just as I got there and snuffed out the view. Still, lots of birds around: a few puffins, kittiwakes, arctic terns, my first wheatear fledgling of the summer, nine common scoters etc.
