The first runner beans are up! I know they're a bit late but I couldn't have sown them any earlier because I wasn't here. We couldn't grow them in Spain because it was just too windy so it'll be really nice when I can eat them. Fingers crossed that the slugs leave them alone... they've already destroyed my courgette plant so, as the tomato plant was untouched, I've bought a second tomato instead.

I went into the charity shop this morning for a couple of hours, so now I must try and retain all the long-forgotten Gift Aid procedure and till operating instructions until I next volunteer... which may only be until tomorrow.
