Blue Skye

Another first today. We travelled over to Applecross and it really lived up to expectations. My fears about the famous Bealach na Bà (the road over the mountains) were unfounded, and I rather enjoyed driving up it. There was a cyclist going up, and a cyclist going down. I didn't fancy either of those activities.

After a lovely walk to a coral beach, we had a pub lunch at the Applecross Inn, and then wound our way back off the peninsula via the coast road, with fantastic views across to Skye and Raasay.

Embiggified gives you more blue.

Today was also my first experiment with taking RAW files. I'm not sure I can tell the difference on this one, but you never know...
