Portuguese Saints and Sardines

Posting a letter I passed this little Portuguese restaurant with banners afloat outside so I asked the owner what the special occasion was. Apparently the patron Saint named Anthony, or Antonio, is very well celebrated and feasts include Sardines-a-plenty. Other Saints Days celebrated, Peter, John etc, also give rise to a banquet of Sardines.
