Caton Bay

Went for a swim this morning at the site pool. Stinky changing rooms aside, the pool was pretty good fun. It had a water slide which the children spent the majority of the time climbing up and very slowly edging their way down (it wasn't the speediest of waterslides!). After a quick snack we headed off for a walk down to the beach, only after navigating a very steep incline down to about half way (with a sleeping Lily on my back in the sling), we discovered the end of the 'path' met with a cliff edge and a rope.... umm, no thanks! Perhaps if we were without dog, child, toddler, baby and toy digger ;-) We took the slightly easier route to Caton Bay (car) and spent an hour or so there, jumping waves, chalking rocks, digging in the sand.

Then back to the campsite for the England match on an ipad, a nice coal fire, fish and chips and some more marshmallows before bed.
