Bibury Village

We've been driving up country today and took to the country roads where possible instead of the main roads, the countryside is looking really pretty. I kept my eye out for poppies but not many about only a few around the edge of crops where the spray has not reached.
The village of Bibury is in the Cotswolds and is particularly pretty with a stream running through it. The gardens were beautiful and the cottages were stone with stone tiles roofs typical to the Cotswolds. We watched a man fly fishing, we could see some big trout in the river but they weren't interested in being turned into supper!
Now we are at Stow in the Wold in a quant old pub.
I worked up here after leaving school in a show and racing yard for the Tatlow family.long time ago!!
