The Queen's Baton

A bit of a dilemma today... Ms H's half yearly piano recital and The Baton was touring Midlothian. Obviously one of these does not happen every year and I decided to leave the piano until next time... risky I know!!

We sat on Eskbank roundabout for 20 minutes... it must have already been 45 minutes late so just as well, before the parade arrived and went off. We saw the Olympic Torch 2 years ago just a few hundred yards away. It was good to see that it went via several high schools today, they should be be big memories for everyone... eh Ms H!
