train pains

Up and out early to get to Montélimar on time for Don's train at 9.10am. Got to the station and the bloke behind the counter looked at us with disdain and said "c'est la grève...il n'y a pas de trains". The train strike was going on longer than we expected. Argh!

Luckily they were putting on a bus to Lyon at 10.30am....enough time for Don to get himself to the airport at the other side. Phew!

It was sad to see Don go. I've loved having him here....we've laughed so much!

In the evening, I went to Sarah's horse-riding spectacle. She was fantastic. At the end of her bit, she stood up on her horse. Brave girl! Woo hoo. She loves being on the horse...you can see her wee face light up :)
