Catch of the Day

The early start was well and truly worth it! Above my haul from the Swale today. The one I am holding was the first I hooked this morning and matched or slightly bettered my largest from my last and first Barbel trip. The insert top left was in fact the biggest of the three and the other insert the baby ( still as big or bigger than my only other banked fish last time). My host once again was Ivan ( many thanks again for a great day ) who fished another swim for Chub and Perch and caught more than half a dozen large Chub and one huge Perch.
A great day, eyes are heavy and bed calls but will try to catch up with some of your journals tonight and the rest tomorrow. Take care one and all ;)
