The Railway, Tulse Hill

A frustrating journey home tonight. Trains from Victoria Station were badly delayed by a gas leak in Battersea so I came home via Blackfriars.

To my dismay, routes through Blackfriars were affected as well. Trains were cancelled and my train had only 4 carriages resulting in a game of sardines.

Home tired and hot so a restorative pint was just what I needed. The Railway at Tulse Hill is a lovely pub, the staff work hard to please and I was able to watch a few minutes of football under the straw awning.

But £4.20 a pint is pushing the limits ...
