Occupation picture!

MissT has been working on a project at school about the occupation of the Channel Islands.
Trip into the attic to find the boxes of old letters, photos and bric-a-brac we have accumulated from friends and family.
This picture shows one of my uncles, the youngest of my father's brothers who was trapped in Guernsey throughout the occupation.
The family were farmers and growers so they managed to grow a lot of what they needed but it was hard.
Picture shows him on a delivery to a neighbour on his ancient bike...shame the bike didn't survive but this uncle is still around and working. He is about 80 now!
