Dog rose

A dog rose backlit by the setting sun, the bokeh from the light dancing on the water of the Kent estuary. Of course, the rose flowers point themselves towards the sun, so this flower is seen from behind, the shadows of the stamens cast on the petals.

Photographed on Gus's evening walk along the estuary. Gus is back to his normal bouncy self.
