Beasts of the Frozen Swamp

Cranes beginning to arrive for the positioning of the Eglinton Viaduct, in the patch of waste ground between Eglinton Street and Pollokshaws Road. A Sarens wheeled crane was there, just visible to the right - it may be the base of the mighty Gottwald AK-680 but I can't be sure - it takes a week to assemble on site! It does look to be in the right place for the work though, and if so that would make the crane in this picture the assembly crane.
