Feline Heaven

Many cats like cat mint to roll around in, but Simba has developed a more sophisticated taste for this lemon balm plant and can't get enough of it:-) He eats it as well, so has a nice fresh breath!

Correction - provided by ceridwen: This IS catmint and not lemon balm after all!

Had to return to hospital today, but just to have a blood sample taken for type matching for my operation on Saturday. The nurse managed to get it first time and made it look easy. Why can't they all be as well trained?

Spent the afternoon making marmalade from some of the Seville oranges that have been rescued from my defunct freezer. Discovered I didn't have enough white sugar, so decided to make some Oxford marmalade with brown sugar and whisky. Rather yummy, if I say so myself!
