Traversing Turtle

As I was walking to my car when leaving work this evening something caught my eye and that something was this turtle. My office is about 1/3 mile from a river so I marveled at how long it must have taken him to get to where he was!? I contemplated carrying him over to the river but as I backed away he seemed quite content at continuing his journey over to some grass.

A very happy Monday for me getting off work early enough to go for a walk with my husband.

Contentment indeed.
