Birthmarks

Long long day.
Travelled to Great Ormond Street for Hollies laser surgery on her port wine stain. Her third in London though she had twelve in Leeds before that .

We started when she was nine months old. The older she gets the harder it gets. Her anxiety is reaching new levels each time and it's not a pretty sight.

Yesterday involved a heavy pre med before a lengthy battle of wills in the anaesthetic room.

The staff here are amazing. She is not forced to do anything however long it takes. She is in control.

We were finally released at 9pm as all the drugs meant she was very slow to regain her faculties. We are currently residing in the patient hotel before the long journey home.
