Cocky Lori

Nepean today. When I'm lucky that means lorikeets. I was, indeed, lucky today. This cheeky little dinosaur sat and posed for me for quite some time (just as well, as for many previous shots of the other lorikeets around, I had not noticed the white balance was still on fluorescent light, from last night inside. DOH!)

I think it's a young'un, with final plumage coming in around the collar. Either that or it's got some 'orrid lurgi, I suppose...
