Manchester

N0 2 Son was flying into Manchester today so we took the opportunity for a day trip and lunch with him to catch up. He was in good form and full of stories about work.

We had a great day. The weather was lovely. I don't know Manchester very well yet but each time I go I like it more.

Peaceful train ride home and it was good to see the Lakeland Fells on the horizon.
