Tall trees bowing

Back to the Cobham woods for our dog walk today, although Murdoch did wonder what I had put into his breakfast as the skies seemed to be converging and the tall trees were bending as he ran under them!

A bit cooler this week than last week and it seems windier this week although not enough wind for Gavin, who is sailing in the Round the Island Race on Saturday as he fears there will not be enough wind! For those not in the UK, it is an annual race around the Isle of Wight, in which about 1700 boats sail 50 nautical miles beginning and ending in Cowes. Gavin loves sailing in it and as much as I would like to see the magnificent sight of all the boats coming around The Needles I am not that keen on sailing. And we are going sailing for our summer holidays...I wonder whose choice that was?
