I went to bed on Saturday night at 7:30 intending to have a nap to energise me for football viewing. Of course I slept straight through dinner and football and awoke at 7:30am on Sunday. Eve loved giving her Daddy the gifts and card she had chosen for him and then she treated him to a megamix of her favourite songs while he set to work on the front garden. After church Eve and I whizzed by M&S where she chose a bramley apple cream cake for Daddy's dessert. I think she could get used to being in charge of the shopping basket without too much trouble.
