Red in Winter
The first outside photo from my work. Winter in the outside gardens is hardly drab with plants like Eriogonum umbellatum(Buckwheat) and Delosperma nubigenum (ice plant) which turn reddish in winter. One is native to South Africa the other just outside of Denver. Both have proven to be attractive and good plants for greenroofs in semi-arid climates. Both thrive on the greenroof at DBG
