A Thing of the Past

Whilst in Bridport today, I noticed an elaborate "signature" on one of the bridges, and my immediate thought was "They don't do that anymore".
How many designers/ engineers get their names put on their creations in such a style these days? I can honestly say, I can't recall seeing anyone's name on modern buildings or architecture recently built, but perhaps I am mistaken, maybe you could put me right?Would they still use Latin words, I wonder?

However, a suitable subject for my monochrome Blip for today, and thought provoking, which is what photographs should be.
