The Last Train

The Wightlink Catamaran from Portsmouth had arrived about ten minutes ago and the rush of cars who had come to pick up the majority of the passengers were now making their way back from the Pier Head to Ryde Town at a sedate 10mph. The last train home too was making steady progress along the Pier to Ryde, calling at Ryde Esplanade, and Ryde St Johns Road. At Smallbrook Junction Station the line splits, either going onto Ashley, Haven Street, and Wootton, which in part is a steam railway. Or Brading, Sandown, Lake, and Shanklin. East Wight is very well served by having a train service, but West Wight has none so, either you walk, take a bus, use a car, or cycle...
