Day 5: Budget Spending

Having been into the office yesterday, I now know a lot more about the organisation and the work I'll be doing there. I will mostly work Mondays, Wesdnesdays and Fridays, meaning today was a day off!

Whilst having a wonder and buying some supplies, I noticed this counter on the wall. Initially I translated it as counting the budget deficit, but with the help of Google Translate (my new bff) it appears it's counting Budget Spending in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It works out at about £1,500,000,000 since the start of the year. Many people in BiH complain about government inefficiency, so I reckon this is a good way to bring to people's attention the amount of money the government is spending.
