Ladies pounding maize...........

At last I have caught up with my blips - in case you are interested I have back blipped the last week. I was in Blantyre and then was so busy that I just did not have a minute to look at all the pictures I have taken! Its been quite a week (as usual!!).

Today, I took the visitors out to the village where we are training caregivers and committees of three Early Childhood Centres. On the way back coming through the village these ladies were pounding their maize, and they gave the girls a chance to try it! Quite an experience. In Malawi, many of the ladies sing as they pound their maize...wonderful to watch but extremely hard work. I always admire the strength of these amazing women!
