Contentment

I once heard someone say that the secret to a happy relationship is to be kind to one another. I'm proud that I have that with my husband. We hold hands when we're together; we say please and thank you to one another; we kiss goodnight. We talk about nothing - and about everything. We sit in silence and it's OK, not always.

I would never be so arrogant to think my marriage is perfect - we have our moments where we piss each other off and yell and slam things (OK that's more me than him), but I think that we need that as well; a little tif here and there keeps us on our toes.

I guess at the end of the day, I'm glad our hands fit together the way they do - perfectly.
