(Holyrood) Park Life...

A fabulous day with nearly 200 schools pupils from across Scotland, showing off their ideas and enthusiasm for the environment, climate change and how we can encourage everyone to play their part. It was such an inspiring event - the passion from the children and young people was just amazing - you could feel it the minute you stepped into the hall!

A brief sit in the sunshine outside the Scottish Parliament before heading in for an evening meeting. It was busy with tourists and office types taking a breather in amongst the wildflower banks that surround the Parliament - such a lovely atmosphere.

I did feel for the guys hard at work re-laying turf though - looked like a tough job in this muggy heat!
