Flowering Cacti

I was meeting with a couple of my friends today to plan a few days away in Argyll next week. We were meeting at my friend, Eric’s flat. A few years ago he decided to down-size to live in his old family home, a main door flat in Stockbridge. As part of the down-sizing exercise he decided to develop a low maintenance Japanese style garden with pebbles and a few plants. He has quite an artistic flair and laid out the garden very attractively. His unique front garden has attracted many appreciative comments from neighbours and people passing by. Unfortunately there was a strong overhead sun today so I did not feel that a photograph of the whole garden would do it justice and instead have chosen to blip one of the small tubs of cacti and succulents, which is currently flowering.
